Administration
With each new account, HSBC conducts a thorough review of your Agency's operations and procedures. Our objective is to develop a comprehensive program for effectively reducing and controlling your losses. By utilizing the services of our full time Safety Director and Trainer, we can help your Agency implement a program directed at reducing the cost of your Agency's Workers' Compensation Insurance. Currently, there are over 100 Agencies in the workers' compensation program. Since the inception of this program, the overall loss ratio has consistently reflected favorable results. Another added feature of our program is that HSBC underwrites, issues and invoices all polices directly from our office.
Claims Management
Highly skilled and qualified third party administrators such as Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc. manage and process all of the claims. The advantage to your Agency in having a local 3rd Party Claims Administrator manage your account is the difference between night and day. In addition to receiving monthly loss runs and claims analysis, you have the added ability of being able to pick up a phone and speak directly to the adjuster about the status of your claims.
Legal Representation Franklin & Prokopik, an aggressive regional law firm specializing in workers' compensation defense, has successfully handled our claims for the past six years. Their attorneys are experienced in handling claims at the commission, trial, and appellate levels. In many instances they are involved well before a claim ever reaches the hearing stage. As with our 3rd Party Administrator, you have the ability to pick up the phone and speak directly with the attorney handling your account. Alea North American Insurance Company insures the program. In addition to a 3 tier rating structure, our in-house underwriting department has the availability of applying additional pricing flexibility.

Latest Audited Annual Financial Statement if estimated premium is $100,000 or greater
